We provide hands-on training in podcasting, video production & editing, and news anchoring to build your students' communication skills.
Podcasting Workshops
Our Podcasting workshops are an excellent way to actively promote English listening and speaking skills. Students learn the production process for various formats, including interviews, monologues, and panel discussions.
From brainstorming engaging topics to mastering audio editing, participants get hands-on experience recording their own shows using professional microphones, computer editing software, and can even choose to share / livestream their podcasts on distribution platforms.
Video Production & Editing Training
Our Video Production and Editing workshops allow students to learn English through visual storytelling and content creation. Our training covers the entire creative process, from storyboarding and selecting the right story angle to understanding technical mechanics like aperture, white balance, shutter speed, and shot types – making it the perfect course for prospective influencers.
To put their skills to the test, some students also take on Vlogging / Vox Pop challenges / the EDB NET Roaming Mic Challenge.
News Anchoring Programs
Enroll your students in our news anchoring program, where students learn to structure, write, and present compelling news stories in front of the camera. At HK Recording Studio, they can use professional green screen production and keying technology to film their segments and can even broadcast live on the school’s social media channels like Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube.
We also offer coaching and professional recording services for the News Feature Presentations category in the Speech Festival.

Will technical equipment be provided?
For field trips, technical equipment will be provided by HK Recording Studio. If you would like us to bring audiovisual equipment for a session at your school, please specify this when you request for a quotation.
